  • cup of crushed saltine cracker crumbs
  • cup of minced onion
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup of milk
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • ½ cup of packed brown sugar
  • 1 (15 ounce) can of pineapple chunks drained , with juice reserved
  • cup of white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • cup of chopped green bell pepper


  • In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, cracker crumbs, onion, egg, milk, ginger, and salt.
