  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) of butter , plus extra for greasing the pan
  • 1 cup of light brown sugar
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of dark corn syrup
  • 2 cups (1 pint) of heavy cream
  • 2 cups of chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
