  • 1 can (15.5 ounces) of chickpeas , drained (reserve the liquid), approximately 2 cups
  • 1/2 cup of plain whole-milk Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup of tahini (sesame paste)
  • 1/3 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice , approximately 2 lemons
  • 4 teaspoons of minced garlic , approximately 4 cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of Sriracha
  • Pure Grade A maple syrup , for serving (optional)
