  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of fresh yeast*
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 6 ounces of softened butter
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 4 egg whites**
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 3 cups of confectioners sugar

  • To prepare the brioche doughnuts:
