  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 6 1/2 ounces bittersweet chocolate , chopped
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 16 chocolate sandwich cookies , crushed
  • Assorted gummy candies , like worms, body parts, spiders (optional)
  • 6 vanilla wafer sandwich cookies with chocolate filling , like Pepperidge Farm Milano
