  • 12 ounces of bucatini pasta
  • cup of olive oil , extra-virgin
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 3 pints of cherry tomatoes
  • tablespoons of capers
  • 2 teaspoons of lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt
  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • cups of fresh basil
  • ¼ cup of pecorino cheese

Instructions
 

  • Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water as per the instructions on the package or until it is cooked but still firm.
