  • 1 tbsp of ground flaxseed
  • 3 tbsp of water
  • 1/2 cup of mashed banana
  • 2 tbsp of extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup + 2 tbsp of almond milk
  • 1 1/2 cups of whole wheat pastry flour*
  • 1/2 cup of oat flour
  • 2 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp of nutmeg
  • Slightly more than 1/4 tsp of sea salt
  • Maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix together the flaxseed, water, and banana until well combined. Allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
