Ingredients
- 2 bunches of Swiss chard
- 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt
- Lemon wedge
- Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Remove the stems from the chard leaves and cut the stems into 1/4-inch slices.
- Roughly chop the chard leaves.
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced chard stems to the skillet and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until they start to soften.
- Add the chopped chard leaves, garlic, salt, and a few grinds of pepper to the skillet.
- Sauté the mixture for 1 to 2 minutes until the leaves are wilted.
- Turn off the heat and drizzle some lemon juice over the chard. Give it a toss.
- Season to taste and serve.
