  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tablespoons of milk or water
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 pounds of ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 egg

  • To make the pasta frolla, combine sugar, butter, egg, milk, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Mix well, but be careful not to overmix. Fold in the flour until just combined.
