  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound sliced smoked pork sausages (e.g. , Conecuh®)
  • 1 red onion , chopped
  • 1 carton (32 ounces) chicken broth
  • 1 can (27 ounces) turnip greens (e.g. , Glory Foods®)
  • 1 can (15 ounces) drained and rinsed great northern beans
  • 1 can (15 ounces) drained and rinsed cannellini beans
  • 1 can (15 ounces) drained and chopped stewed tomatoes
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup ham bone broth
  • 1 package (1.06 ounces) herb and garlic soup mix (e.g. , Lipton®)
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (e.g. , Penzey's®), or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Start by turning on a multi-functional pressure cooker, such as an Instant Pot, and selecting the Saute function.
  • Add oil to the pressure cooker and heat it up. Then, saute the sausages and onion together until they are browned, which should take about 5 to 7 minutes. Once done, transfer them to a separate bowl.
  • In a large bowl, combine the chicken broth, turnip greens, great northern beans, cannellini beans, tomatoes, water, ham bone broth, garlic soup mix, Cajun seasoning, and garlic powder together.
