  • 1 package (14.1 ounces) of double-crust pie pastry , thawed
  • 8 Granny Smith apples , peeled, cored, and sliced

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the flour and stir until it forms a paste; cook for about 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant.
