  • 1 package of white cake mix (15.25 ounces)
  • 1 ¼ cups of water
  • ½ cup of vegetable oil
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 can of prepared vanilla frosting (16 ounces)
  • 6 drops of green food coloring , or as required
  • 12 marshmallows
  • ¼ cup of green decorator sugar
  • 48 semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 drop of red food coloring


  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place paper liners in two 12-cup muffin tins.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, oil, and egg whites. Mix with an electric mixer on low speed until moistened.
  • Increase the mixer speed to medium and continue mixing for 2 minutes.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling each one halfway.
