  • 1 ¼ cups diced onion
  • 3 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 cube of vegetarian bouillon with beef flavor
  • 7 oz collard greens , chopped
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes , no salt added
  • 1 ¼ cups water
  • Salt and ground black pepper , to taste
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) rinsed and drained great Northern beans
  • 1 tsp white sugar

Instructions
 

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of water in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook and stir the onion and garlic in the water until the onion is softened and translucent, approximately 10 minutes. Add more water if necessary to prevent scorching.
