  • 1 frozen New York-style cheesecake , approximately 30 ounces
  • 15 ounces of green candy melting wafers
  • 1/2 cup of refined coconut oil
  • Green sprinkles (for decorating)
  • 8 gold star dragees
  • Rainbow nonpareils (for decorating)
  • Silver nonpareils (for decorating)
  • 1 tube of white decorating icing , approximately 4.25 ounces (such as Wilton)
  • White nonpareils (for decorating)


  • Place parchment paper on a baking sheet.
  • Cut the cheesecake into 8 equal wedges.
  • Insert a wooden ice pop stick into the short side of each cheesecake slice, about 2 1/2 inches deep.
  • Transfer the cheesecake slices to the prepared baking sheet and freeze them until solid, for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  • Place another parchment paper on a second baking sheet.
  • In a microwave-safe container with a wide-mouth, add the green candy melting wafers and coconut oil.
  • Microwave the mixture in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the melting wafers and coconut oil are melted and smooth (around 1 minute 30 seconds).
  • To make a plain tree: Dip a frozen cheesecake slice into the melted candy mixture until it's fully coated. Transfer it to the prepared baking sheet and immediately sprinkle it with green sprinkles. Dip the bottom of a gold star dragee into the melted candy and press it onto the top of the tree.
