  • 16.5 ounces of pre-made sugar cookie dough from a store
  • Four 8-ounce packages of cream cheese , softened at room temperature
  • 2 cups of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs , at room temperature
  • Red and green sprinkles for decoration
  • One 1-pound box of confectioners sugar , approximately 4 cups
  • 2 tablespoons of meringue powder
  • Red and green gel food coloring

Instructions
 

  • Place an oven rack in the middle position and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Press the cookie dough evenly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, using the bottom of a measuring cup to help spread it out.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cookie is set and golden brown.
  • Allow the cookie crust to cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  • Wrap the bottom and sides of the springform pan with a large piece of foil and place it in a large roasting pan.
  • Reduce the oven temperature to 325 degrees F.
