Imagine a colorful stained glass window, but instead of being made of glass, it is made of jiggly, fruity goodness. That’s exactly what Broken Glass Cake resembles. This whimsical dessert originated in the early 20th century and has been a beloved treat ever since. It was initially introduced as a way to use up leftover gelatin from the popular molded desserts of the time. Little did anyone know that it would become a sensation on its own.

Preparing the Broken Glass Cake

The beauty of Broken Glass Cake lies in its simplicity. To make this dessert, you’ll need a mix of flavored gelatin, condensed milk, and a few other ingredients.
