  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (plus extra for dusting)
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 can (13.4 oz) dulce de leche
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (or more if needed)

  • Using a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat the butter on medium speed until creamy (about 2 minutes).
