jar (4 ounces) of medium salsa

cup
tomato sauce

cloves
of garlic
, finely minced

small red onion
, finely chopped

teaspoon
ground cumin

teaspoon
chili powder
A pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper
, to taste
Instructions
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.
Pour the salsa and tomato sauce over the chicken.
Add the garlic and onion to the slow cooker.
Sprinkle the cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
Set the slow cooker to Low heat.
Cook for 4 to 5 hours, or until the chicken is very tender.
Use two forks to shred the cooked chicken.
Serve the shredded chicken.
